August 26th – September 2nd

Sailing Mallorca has been such an incredible experience. I’ve traveled so often by land and air but this is my first experience visiting a place by sea. And I am loving it! Waking up every morning to a view of the mediterranean sea surrounding you and jumping in for a quick dip before breakfast is such a perfect way to start the day! And experiencing it all with my best friend (Mel) makes this trip even sweeter! The more trips we do the more I become so appreciative that I get to experience it all with my her!

I don’t travel with a lot of jewelry but the one thing I can’t leave home without are my PANDORA Jewellery rings! I have a collection of rings that are now seasoned travellers. I love stacking several of my rings together and mixing metals. The new PANDORA Rose™ collection is one that I have been drooling over. My favourite part about it are the bestie rings Mel and I got without even knowing it! I selected a heart ring with a missing puzzle piece and coincidentally enough Mel selected my missing puzzle piece. So she literally has a piece of my heart, making it that much more special for us! These rings have quickly became my favourites I’ve been wearing them 24/7, stacking both the rose gold and silver rings.

The new PANDORA Jewellery campaign launches today and it’s a celebration of all women and all occasions, no matter how big or small. Beautiful jewellery shouldn’t be reserved for special occasions; wear it wherever you go, however you want. With this new collection, I am reminded to treat myself more often as a reward for all the hard work – rewards can come in several forms may it be a ring, a trip, a day at the spa.

The new Autumn collection from PANDORA Jewellery #DoSeeTheWonderful is in stores and online today (link here)! Links to all my rings can be found listed below. It’s time to celebrate you – treat yo’self! Follow me to Mallorca

After a full day of traveling I met up with Aggie (@travel_inhershoes) in Bangkok and together we boarded 1 more flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia.

I was exhausted but so excited for the adventure ahead! I had visited Siem Reap once before 3 years ago and I was excited to revisit the Ancient Temples of Ankor Wat. Being back was a total déjà vu and a totally new experience all at once. There is so much ancient history to see it was unlikely I’d experience the same thing twice.

We purchased a 3-day pass for $62 USD which I personally think is the best choice (you can also purchase a 1-day and 7-day pass). Cambodia is very hot and there is too much to see to fit it all into just a 1 day pass. The 3 day pass offered just enough flexibility for us to go for a few hours at sunrise then return later in the day after some downtime back at the hotel.

My favourite temples remained the same as they were 3 years ago; Bayun, Tomb Raider and Ankor Wat for sunrise, with the new addition of this incredible archway in Ta Som Temple. After getting quite the run around we finally figured out where the archway was, a 15 min tuk tuk ride from where we were! We raced over and arrived just as they were closing but with a little sweet talking (on Aggie’s behalf) the guard let us in really quickly and we had the place all to ourselves!

While we didn’t get the best weather during our trip (we were there at the beginning of rain season) we found ways to make up for it. Hanging out at Vibe cafe and relaxing in our private pool at Templation Hotel quickly became our favourite pass time! If you’re like me & always searching for healthy eats when travelling than this place is for you! When I’m home I try to eat a very healthy diet and with travelling so often I really do my best to eat as close to my regular diet as possible. Now I may not be vegan but I love eating at vegan cafes plus I can’t say no to açai bowls and avo toast! This is not to say that I don’t indulge in the local foods, eating local is actually one of my favourite ways to experience a country. Whether it be a cooking class or just enjoying the local dishes I love taking myself on a culinary journey! In Cambodia I would recommend trying the Amok!

The nightlife is Cambodia is also something not to miss. While Pub Street is very touristy we had a great time walking the streets filled with local souvenirs, restaurants, bars and all kinds of stalls selling strange things for foreigners to eat like scorpions, snakes, tarantulas, magets.. (you catch my drift). Rather than trying the bugs I opted for a healthy passion fruit & pineapple shake while walking the night market.

And when you get tired of walking stop to get a $4 massage in the middle of the street! For that price I would get a 1 hour foot massage + head, neck and shoulders! We loved picking places along the side of the road because we were able to watch the sunset and people watch all at once – a perfect way to see Siem Reap!

Next time I revisit I would love to go back to the islands off Cambodia, I visited once before – it was the most beautiful beach I had ever seen!

January 16 – February 16, 2017 – Bali, Indonesia

My love for Bali continues.. Bali holds a special place close to my heart after all, it’s been the place I’ve revisited the most, (3 years in a row!)

Everyone always asks me, what is it about Bali that has you going back again and again. And my answer is everything! Bali has so much to offer, the food, the people, the culture and of course the landscape. The food while delicious and the landscape while breathtaking, it’s the people and the culture that has stollen my heart.

Coming from a society where it’s every man for themselves, you quickly notice the appreciation and gratitude amongst the Balinese. In Bali, and many other places in South East Asia, a honk on the horn isn’t a bad thing but rather given as a cautionary warning like ‘careful I’m behind you’ or ‘watch out I’m passing on your left’. No one is stressed and everyone is happy living a simple life.

Here’s some of my favourite moments of our month long winter escape to Bali!

June 5- June 8, 2017 – Florida Keys, USA

I had visited Florida many times before but this was my first time in the Keys. If you didn’t know, the Key West is the furthest point south in the state and you can actually see Cuba from it!

I was particularly excited for this trip because some of the other girls attending were people I’ve admired on instagram for years! Spending time with these girls made the experience that much more memorable. We spent everyday laughing together, learning from one another and spending late nights bonding and playing card games.

Our time spent at the Hawks Cay Resort was made extra special because of the incredible staff. From a relaxing massage, to a boat trip, to a dolphin experience, the staff bent over backwards to make all our dreams came true and made sure we saw everything the resort had to offer! Each night we dined at a different restaurant and each one better than the last, I made sure to enjoy the local seafood as it comes in fresh daily!

Here are some of my fav moments with these incredible women!

Our first press trip! In May, Mel and I were invited on our first press trip to Dominican Republic. We were so excited to be part of the second edition of Barcelo Stories and try our hand at film. The experience, while hard work, was incredible! We were blown away by the beauty this country has to offer.

To be honest, I wasn’t overly excited to visit Dominican as I thought it would be crowded with tourists and all inclusives. But the second we landed all of that changed as we saw the most turquoise waters we had ever seen and some of the softest sand I had ever felt!

Over the course of the week we wined and dined at every restaurant Occidental Punta Cana had to offer which were excellent, but our favourite one was the little taco joint open until 6am. A perfect late night snack while editing!

Here’s a snippet of our time in Dominican.
