Our first press trip! In May, Mel and I were invited on our first press trip to Dominican Republic. We were so excited to be part of the second edition of Barcelo Stories and try our hand at film. The experience, while hard work, was incredible! We were blown away by the beauty this country has to offer.
To be honest, I wasn’t overly excited to visit Dominican as I thought it would be crowded with tourists and all inclusives. But the second we landed all of that changed as we saw the most turquoise waters we had ever seen and some of the softest sand I had ever felt!
Over the course of the week we wined and dined at every restaurant Occidental Punta Cana had to offer which were excellent, but our favourite one was the little taco joint open until 6am. A perfect late night snack while editing!
