Bali

January 16 – February 16, 2017 – Bali, Indonesia

My love for Bali continues.. Bali holds a special place close to my heart after all, it’s been the place I’ve revisited the most, (3 years in a row!)

Everyone always asks me, what is it about Bali that has you going back again and again. And my answer is everything! Bali has so much to offer, the food, the people, the culture and of course the landscape. The food while delicious and the landscape while breathtaking, it’s the people and the culture that has stollen my heart.

Coming from a society where it’s every man for themselves, you quickly notice the appreciation and gratitude amongst the Balinese. In Bali, and many other places in South East Asia, a honk on the horn isn’t a bad thing but rather given as a cautionary warning like ‘careful I’m behind you’ or ‘watch out I’m passing on your left’. No one is stressed and everyone is happy living a simple life.

Here’s some of my favourite moments of our month long winter escape to Bali!

Wow! Your blog looks absolutely stunning. You and Mel are such a huge inspiration for me. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and have NEVER been anywhere outside of Ontario that I remember. When I was a baby my parents took me places but I was too little to remember.

I can’t wait to see more pictures and read more about your amazing adventures! Loving the blog!

    Lisa,

Did you find it like it was really rainy during that time as I heard dry season is usually after April-September. I was looking into going around February to Bali and all around South East Asia. Would love to get any advice. You and Mel are such a dynamic duo….love you both!

Hey so I’ve been to Bali 3 times.. the first time I was there is january, second time in may and this year in January/ February.. the weather the fort 2 times was amazing! No rain at all.. this time around there was a lot more rain.. especially the first 2 weeks but it got much better. And it never rains the whole day
